Where AI looks for the answer

The campuses' own sites. Program pages, entrepreneurship centers and tech transfer offices are the sources these answers cite most, so what each campus publishes about who can join, what it costs and how to apply is what AI has to recommend from.

Who can change it

• Universities: Link every spinout to the programs and funds that backed it. On each startup program's page, say who can apply: students, alumni, faculty, or anyone in the city. Publish one page that lists every startup program on campus, who each is for, and how to join.
• Media and storytellers: AI sends most student founders to one campus. What is being built on the others?

What we measure again

Universities AI names and never recommends (3 of 8 today), and the share of university recommendations that go to one campus.
